Description
Balaswagandhadi Thailam is a medicated oil described in the Ayurvedic classical text book Sahasrayoga.
This medicated oil is a combination of several herbs like Bala (Sida cordifolia), Laksha (Lacciferra lacca), Aswagandha (Withania somnifera) etc. in a warming base of sesame oil.
Balaswagandhadi Thailam is commonly used for Abhyanga (body massage) and application over head. Application of oil over head and body is a part of the daily regimen (Dinacharya) prescribed by Ayurveda. Practicing Abhyanga with the taila provides multiple health benefits.

LAKSHA
Laksha or lac is a gum-like substance obtained from the female lac insect (Laccifer lacca). It effectively helps in wound healing and healing of fractures.
ASWAGANDHA (Withania somnifera)
