Shadbindu taila is a classical taila preparation prescribed for nasya (nasal instillation). It rids the body, especially the Uttamanga (Head), of Kapha-Pitta disorders and balances the tridoshas. This time tested taila is a well-crafted combination of tridoshahara herbs and roots in a rich base of sesame oil fortified with goat’s milk, that heals as well as nourishes.

Shadbindu taila is lauded for its capability to balance the tridoshas in the region of the head, neck and shoulder. Brings about hormonal balance.
Prevents recurrent cold and flu
Therapeutic Nasya with Shadbindu taila is recommended during periods of seasonal flu, cough and cold. It flushes out problematic phlegm as well as protects the oral cavity and nasal orifice from invading microbes and infection.
Relieves chronic headache
Shadbindu taila balances the heat and pain associated with Pitta-Vata vitiation in the region of the head and neck.
For healthy vision
Enhances the functioning of the sense organs located in the head. Endows keenness of vision, hearing, olfaction and taste.
Adults: 2-4 drops of Shadbindu Taila in each nostril.
Children: 1-2 drops of Shadbindu Taila in each nostril.
Administer Shadbindu taila after mild steam application to the neck, for best results.
(The dosages may be increased or decreased based on the individual’s strength and disease intensity).
