Description

Parpataka is a simple Ayurvedic herb belonging to the grass species. Deranged Pitta causes the body to heat up and fume from within. It causes the body temperature to go up and the body fluids to become non-functional and viscid. Parpatakarishtam is a traditional Pitta-pacifying combination that revives the body with its cool and astringent properties.

Arishtas are mildly alcoholic preparations. The sweet taste of Parpatakarishtam makes it palatable to kids and adults alike. The alcohol base makes it quick acting and efficient.

Features and benefits of Parpatakarishtam

  • Combination of Parpata, Dhataki, Amruta, Mustha, Daruharidra, Devadaru, Chavya, Chitraka, Sunti, Trikantaka and Duralabha in a mildly alcoholic base.
  • Intense Pitta Samana action. Parpatakarishtam resolves inflammatory pathways in the body. Breaks down and expels ‘Ama’ or metabolic waste from the body tissues.
  • It helps in the management of ‘Pandu’ and ‘Kamala’, conditions characterised by the poor quality of circulating blood, exertional fatigue and pallor.
  • It is beneficial in Pitta predominant conditions like excessive thirst, burning sensation, hot flushes, fainting and dizziness.
  • Parpatakarishtam also clears circulatory channels and metabolic pathways. Sets metabolism on track.
  • It improves digestion and absorption in the gut. Facilitates optimum nourishment of body tissues.
  • It cleanses and detoxifies the liver and circulatory system. Purifies blood and lymph.
