Description
Gandha thailam is a medicated oil described in the Ayurvedic classical text book Ashtangahrudaya. This is explained in the context of ‘Bhagna Pratishedha’ or the treatment of fractures.
Gandha thailam is a combination of several herbs like Krishna Tila (Sesamum indicum), Madhuka (Glycyrrhiza glabra), Manjishta (Rubia cordifolia) etc. in a nourishing base of sesame oil.
Gandha thailam capsules are commonly used in the stage of re-modelling of bones after fracture, musculoskeletal disorders and degenerative diseases. It is commonly given as Paana (as internal medicine).

MANJISHTA (Rubia Cordifolia)
