‘Brahma’ stands for growth, expansion and creation in Sanskrit. The term ‘Rasayana’ in Sanskrit means ‘that which traverses the path of nourishment to revive and rejuvenate’. Brahma Rasaayanam is a classical recipe hailed by Ayurveda Acharyas for its strengthening (balyam), nourishing (dhatuposhanam) and brain promoting (medhya) properties.
‘Avaleha’ preparation is a sweet and palatable adaptation of ‘Kashaya’ or herbal decoction. Rich in nutrients, it may be used to supplement a meal, in persons with healthy digestion. The herbal jam contains fragrant spices and appetite stimulants like Cumin, Cardamom, Black pepper, Long pepper etc.

Amla (Emblica officinalis), a key ingredient of the rasayanam, is known for its antioxidant properties and the ability to invigorate the body. It facilitates the effective absorption of vitamins and minerals and scavenges the toxic free radicals from the system.
