YASHTI (Glycyrrhiza glabra)

Yashtimadhu is beneficial in treating acid peptic disease. It reduces gastric acid secretion and inhibits the formation of peptic ulcers. It is also one of the world’s most widely researched herbs for its role in supporting the body’s normal digestive function. It is useful in Hyperacidity, Peptic ulcer, and Gastro-Esophageal Reflux Disease (GERD).

GAMBARI ( Gmelina arborea)

One of the dashamoola roots, it effectively reduces inflammation and improves wound healing. The potent antioxidant properties help in cleansing the blood and removing dullness of skin and wrinkles.

SARIVA (Hemidesmus indicus)

Sariva is known for its refreshing coolant action, blood purifying effect & Pitta pacifying properties. Sariva detoxifies the ‘Ama’ (toxins), hence it is very useful in gout, arthritis, chronic rheumatic disorder and glandular swellings and beneficial in burning micturition and yellowish urine.

MUSTHA (Cyperus rotundus)

Mustha helps improve digestion due to its Deepan and Pachan properties if taken in the recommended dosage. Mustha oil is an effective home remedy for managing stomach disorders due to its antispasmodic and carminative properties.

AMALAKI (Embilica officinalis)

The benefits of Amalaki are numerous, which part of why it is considered to be the best antiaging ingredient in all of Ayurveda. It is beneficial in metabolism, elimination and normal liver function and excellent for the hair and skin. The fruit is an important source of vitamin C, minerals and amino acids. It contains three times the protein concentration and Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) concentration than apple.

CHANDANA (Santalum alba)

This potent herb pacifies Pitta doshas, cleanses the skin, reduces inflammation and effectively treats conditions like diarrhea and piles.

DRAKSHA (Vitis vinifera)

Commonly known as grapes, it is used in both dry and wet form. Its juice is given to children mixing with water it relieves constipation. Regular application of Grapes in the form of a face pack protects skin from harmful ultraviolet radiation. It is used in the preparation of asavas and arishtas.

LODRA (Symplocos recemosa)

Lodhra is a traditional medicine used by Ayurvedic practitioners. All parts like roots, bark as well as leaves of this plant are used for medicinal purposes but most useful is its stem. Lodhra is considered useful in managing female disorders such as leucorrhea (excessive vaginal discharge) which is caused by vaginal infections as it has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. It helps to manage excessive menstrual bleeding by promoting blood thickening due to its astringent and hemostatic (process which stops bleeding) properties. This hemostatic property is also useful in managing nose bleed.

PADMAKA (Nelumbo nucifera)
